About the Project
The Governmental Plaza in downtown Greensboro is now open to the public following the completion of major renovations.
Located between the Old Guilford County Courthouse, the Guilford County Courthouse, and the City of Greensboro’s Melvin Municipal Office Building, the plaza has undergone extensive improvements, including a new ADA ramp inside the plaza site, repairs to the parking deck, installation of a new waterproofing system, and landscaping upgrades to enhance accessibility for residents, visitors, and staff.
Construction was completed in September 2025.
