 HUD released the ARD Report with funding amounts on Friday, July 28. The full report is available here:  FY2023 CoC Estimated ARD Report

e-snaps is open for project applications as of Friday, July 28 and 
he portal can be accessed at https://esnaps.hud.gov/
Project applications must be submitted via e-snaps by 11:59pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023 to be considered for this grant cycle.

INFORMATION FROM THE NC-504 COLLABORATIVE APPLICANT

Guilford CoC Appeal, Policies & ProceduresNC 504 CoC Reallocation Policy 

The Guilford County CoC Collaborative Applicant Team is requesting responses for the NC-504 FY 2023 Consolidated NOFO Application from CoC members. If your organization/agency would like to contribute towards any of the responses for the questions listed below, please email the responses to infoCoC@guilfordcountync.gov by Friday, August 25, 2023. (Please be sure to include the number of the question(s) you are answering with your response.) Thank you in advance for your partnership and collaboration!

1. Reduction in the Number of First Time Homeless–Risk Factors Your CoC Uses 

  • Describe how your CoC determined the risk factors to identify persons experiencing homelessness for the first-time.
  • Describe your CoC’s strategies to address individuals and families at risk of becoming homeless.

2. Length of Time Homeless–CoC’s Strategy to Reduce 

  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to reduce the length of time individuals and persons in families remain homeless.
  • Describe how your CoC identifies and houses individuals and persons in families with the longest lengths of time homeless.

3. Exits to Permanent Housing Destinations/Retention of Permanent Housing 

  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to increase the rate that individuals and persons in families residing in emergency shelter, safe havens, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing exit to permanent housing destinations.
  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to increase the rate that individuals and persons in families residing in permanent housing projects retain their permanent housing or exit to permanent housing destinations.

4. Returns to Homelessness–CoC’s Strategy to Reduce Rate 

  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to identify individuals and families who return to homelessness [Note: this is about how CoC identifies individuals and families who return to homelessness].
  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to reduce the rate of additional returns to homelessness [Note: this is about the process for reducing the rate of additional returns to homelessness].

5. Increasing Employment Cash Income 

  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to access employment cash sources.
  • Describe how your CoC works with mainstream employment organizations to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness increase their employment cash income.

6. Increasing Non-employment Cash Income 

  • Describe your CoC’s strategy to access non-employment cash income (e.g., SSI, SSDI,TANF).
