Notes and Directions
Notes:
1. Block Groups will show a more accurate representation of perceived population because their boundaries stay within Guilford County and have been broken up by Tract (#) then Block Group (BG) (#).
2. It is recommended when selecting multiple Block Group (BG) on the left hand side that it is limited to up to 10. The bar graph does not have enough space to represent a large selection, but the statistics should be able to handle multiple selection.
3. There is no "select all" or "clear selection" tool when choosing Block Groups (BG) from the left hand lists.
Directions:
1A. Click on each tab under a statistic or map to get specific demographic information or switch current maps.
1B. Using the left hand side you can select as many Block Groups (BG) which will populate that selected information into the tables, graphs, charts, statistics etc.
2. Up to 10 Block Groups (BG) can be selected at a time.
3. Clicking the layers option on the map you will be able to turn off and on any of the layers we have provided.
4. A search tool can be used to search for data around a specific address or location.
5. When selecting multiple Block Groups (BG) the statistics on the top right will add the ability to scroll through your selection. When selecting a Block Group (BG) it will auto populate each Block Group (BG) within the Census Tracts.
