If you are experiencing homelessness in Guilford County, North Carolina, your first point of contact should be Coordinated Entry.
Contact Coordinated Entry by calling 336-553-2716 or emailing coordinatedentry@partnersendinghomelessness.org.
The Guilford County Continuum of Care (Guilford CoC) works to both end and prevent homelessness. Following are resources for individuals and families who are literally homeless, in danger of losing their shelter, or who are experiencing a situation that could lead to homelessness.
Guilford County Coordinated Entry
Coordinated Entry is how Guilford County’s homelessness service agencies work together to ensure that people experiencing homelessness are connected to services quickly. Coordinated Entry is the starting point for the Intake process and is the first step toward receiving services. The Coordinated Entry and Coordinated Intake processes are changing homelessness from a destination to a process. When you contact Coordinated Entry, you will be asked questions to determine the best resources for your situation.
Who should Contact Coordinated Entry?
- People who are living in a place not meant for human habitation (outside, in a car, or in a tent)
- People who are living in a building with no running water or electricity
- People who are living in a shelter
- People who are living in a hotel/motel paid for by charitable organizations or government programs
Coordinated Care access points change regularly. Check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
