November 5, 2024 General Early Voting

Early voting for the November 5, 2024 General election has ended and all early voting sites are closed. Registered Guilford County voters that have not voted in this election may vote in assigned precinct locations on Tuesday, November 5. 

  • Where to vote: Election Day Polling Places.
  • Are you registered to vote? Check your registration status with the Voter Search Tool. 
  • Who will be on the ballot? Use the Voter Search Tool to view individual sample ballot information (search and select name, scroll down to Your Sample Ballot section) or view sample composite ballot information when available and posted on our More Information page. 
  • Is Photo ID Required? Review our Photo ID Information page for 2024 information on voter ID.

Same-Day Registration Information

This process only applies during Early Voting. Individuals who are not registered to vote in a county by the deadline may register at early voting sites during the early voting period. After registering, the newly registered voter can immediately vote at the same site. This process is called "same-day registration."

*Voting totals are unofficial until Guilford County Board of Elections Canvass on November 15, 2024. Same Day Registrants may not be included in all data until applications are processed; therefore, daily statistics and data will vary between reports throughout the election cycle.
