District Patrol Offices
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office provides Law Enforcement Services to the unincorporated areas of Guilford County and to the towns of Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield, and Whitsett. The town of Jamestown also contracts with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office to provide additional law enforcement services within the town.
The Sheriff's Office operates three (3) district offices within the county in addition to the two (2) main offices that are located in Greensboro and High Point. The district offices provide 24/7 patrol services to the citizens of each district. Each district also provides criminal investigative services crimes occurring within the district. The district offices are located in Jamestown, Summerfield, and Whitsett.
Other cities and towns within Guilford County maintain their own police departments.

The District 1 Sheriff's Office is located at 7504 Summerfield Road, Summerfield, NC. The District is bounded by Rockingham County on the north, east along US 29 South, west along Forsyth County and south along the Greensboro City Limits.
District 1 is staffed by a Captain, Lieutenant, five Sergeants, four detectives, 19 patrol deputies, one canine handler and an Office Manager. District 1 services the incorporated towns of Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Stokesdale and the unincorporated areas of Colfax, Brown Summit and those neighborhoods outside the city limits of Greensboro within our District boundaries.
The primary function of District 1 is uniformed patrol and the criminal investigations of crimes related to assaults, burglary, theft, fraud, forgery, vehicle theft, possession or receiving stolen property and juvenile criminal offenses.

The District 2 Sheriff's Office is located at 5440 Millstream Rd, McLeansville, NC. The District is bounded by Rockingham County on the north, east along Alamance County, and south along Randolph County. East along US 421 north bound to Monnett Road, east to Coble Church Road north to Alamance Church Road west to city limits of Greensboro. North following east side of the city limits of Greensboro to US 29 N and east side of northbound on US 29 N to Rockingham County.
District 2 is staffed by a Captain, Lieutenant, five Sergeants, four Detectives, 23 Patrol Deputies, one Canine Handler, and an Office Manager. District 2 services the incorporated towns of Whitsett and Sedalia, and the unincorporated areas of Forest Oaks, Julian, Kimesville, Climax, Osceola, Monticello, McLeansville and those neighborhoods outside the city limits of Burlington, Gibsonville and Greensboro within our District boundaries.
The primary function of District 2 is uniformed patrol and the criminal investigations of crimes related to assaults, burglary, theft, fraud, forgery, vehicle theft, possession or receiving stolen property and juvenile criminal offenses.
