Summerfield Summer-Cycle, Community Recycling Event! Join us Saturday, September 13, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Summerfield Community Center, 5404 Centerfield Rd, Summerfield, NC 27358. Accepting tires (Max 50 passenger tires or 10 heavy truck tires per household. No large equipment tires), appliances, electronics, including computers, televisions, microwaves, electronic games and toys, cell phones, Styrofoam (no peanuts), broken down cardboard and plastic bags, also accepting personal documents to be shredded (No More Than 5 file boxes per vehicle.) No business waste accepted.

New Scrap Tire Disposal Fees began July 1, 2025

Passenger tires increased to $1.15 each, heavy truck tires increased to $5.88 each, oversized tires increased to $0.051 per pound. Find more scrap tire disposal information here.
