The Guilford County Continuum of Care (Guilford CoC) compiles and shares data about homelessness and services within Guilford County, North Carolina, primarily that which is required by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other organizations for funding.

This data includes various CoC system performance metrics and standards that are used to track progress toward goals and provide recommendations of remedial actions and quality improvement plans for poor-performing projects to the CoC Board of Directors and the CoC membership.

The CoC’s System Performance and Evaluation Committee annually reviews HUD’s guidelines, other applicable guidelines or regulations, and best practices and implements a review of funded agencies to monitor adherence to standards of care and outcomes. Point-In-Time Counts (PIT)

The Point-In-Time Count is the annual survey of everyone experiencing homelessness the last ten days of January. This data is collected in Guilford County each year and submitted to United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
