This certification-related course will present the Firefighter candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of Chapters Five and Six of NFPA 1001: Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. This course deals with the extinguishment of a multitude of different fires and the use of varied tools and extinguishing agents. This course is part of the NC Firefighter Certification Program approved by the NC Fire and Rescue Commission.
