North Carolina General Assembly Redistricting
New districts were approved in October 2023 by the North Carolina General Assembly for the U.S. House of Representatives, North Carolina State House, and North Carolina State Senate. Approved redistricting information can be viewed directly through the General Assembly Redistricting Website.
Note on identifying precincts in Guilford County before we update our data: the approved session law will indicate VTD assignments within each district. In Guilford County, the VTD numbers match our precinct numbers. If Census Block numbers are listed after a VTD, this indicates the precinct is split within the district. As information, detailed individual precinct maps can by viewed in the Guilford County Precinct Map Book which is located on this page of our website.

Was my precinct moved?
The actual precinct lines were not moved or redrawn, and voting locations have not changed for any Guilford County voters as a result of the redistricting process. The redistricting process only makes changes to what districts are assigned to voters.
Some voting locations change periodically. Voters affected by a permanent polling place location change are notified by receiving new Voter Registration Cards, and the changes are also posted on this page.
