This certification-related course will present the Firefighter candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of Chapters Five and Six of NFPA 1001: Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. This course is designed to assist the candidate in all functions of a fire and life safety program including: inspections, prevention, education, and cause determination. This course is part of the NC Firefighter Certification Program approved by the NC Fire and Rescue Commission.
