This meeting will include the preliminary hearing for the Guilford County Commissioner District 4 protest filed by Republican Alan Branson. The preliminary hearing will be immediately followed by the commencement of the hand-to-eye recount requested by Democrat Cheri Beasley for a random 3% sample of precincts in the NC Supreme Court Chief Justice contest and any other ensuing business taken by the local county board.
