Guilford County Animal Services Prepares to Move to their New Facility! 

In preparation for its move to the new Guilford County Animal Resource Center, at 980 Guilford College Road, the agency will close its 4525 W. Wendover Ave location to the public permanently on October 25th and reopen to the public – at the new facility – on November 1st.  

The current shelter at 4525 W. Wendover Avenue will also be closed to the public on October 10th through October 12th. And again on October 17th through October 19th, to prepare for the move.  

GCAS Animal Control will continue to respond to priority calls. They can be reached at 336-641-5990, or 911 after 5:00 pm. 

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the new Guilford County Animal Resource Center, at 980 Guilford College Road, on Friday October 29th. The ceremony starts at 2:00 PM sharp, and tours of the facility will take place until 4:00 PM.  

The new facility opens to the public on November 1st.
