Come out and join us at Bur-Mil Park at 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd. in Greensboro Sunday April 10th from 12:30 to 4pm for a tail waggin good time to benefit Heartworm Positive dogs that come into Guilford County Animal Services!
Warmer weather, spring flowers, and the beauty of Bur-Mil Park are just some of the enticements for the county’s inaugural Must Love Dogs Spring Festival event, which is co-hosted by Guilford County Animal Services and Guilford County Parks. And, if you love dogs, this is the event where dogs are not only welcomed, they’re celebrated.
The festival will host a variety of fun activities for dogs and children, along with vendors selling products and treats for dogs, with proceeds going to GCAS’s Have a Heart program. That initiative helps adopters with the costs associated with treating heartworm positive dogs from the Resource Center. Staff from GCAS will be on hand at the festival to educate dog owners about the high heartworm risks here in North Carolina and prevention.
Bring a blanket to picnic with your family and pets after visiting some of our wonderful food trucks and beer/cider garden!
Once you've finished lunch, enjoy our family and Fido friendly activities such as music, a dog egg hunt, dog yoga, pup painting, a game of tag, a photo booth, and more!
