In accordance with North Carolina state election law, voters are required to be legal residents of Guilford County 30 days prior to an election date. Therefore, individuals are required to vote based on the address where they lived 30 days prior to the election.

In North Carolina, the residency deadline for the July 26, 2022 Greensboro Municipal General election is Sunday, June 26, 2022.
