There are currently four greenhouses on the County Farm, one of which is used by county staff, and the other three are leased to local growers.

The one greenhouse operated by the county is used to grow plants to enhance landscapes across all the county parks and other county-owned properties. The wide variety of annual and perennial landscape plants, along with other garden and vegetable plants, are also for sale to the public each year beginning in early spring. Sales continue as long as supplies last (typically sales begin end of March and go through Mother’s Day or later).

The three additional greenhouses are leased to the community for a variety of projects and operations. The operations range from local growers to wholesalers to non-profit organizations shaping our youth and future leaders.
