The heart of the Guilford County Continuum of Care (CoC) is its membership.
The Guilford County CoC Membership meets on the second Thursday of each month from 9:30AM until 11:30AM. Meetings are currently being held via ZOOM. To receive the Zoom link, please email infoCoC@guilfordcountync.gov.
New members are welcome to join at any time during the year. There are two levels of membership: non-voting members and voting members.
Non-Voting Members
Any person who attends at least one meeting per calendar year is considered a Non-Voting Member. Non-Voting Members may receive information from the Continuum of Care including, but not limited to, meeting notices, Continuum of Care meeting minutes and Continuum of Care reports. To remain in good standing, Non-Voting Members must attend at least one meeting a calendar year in order to maintain their membership.
Voting Members
There is no minimum or maximum number of voting members on the Guilford Continuum of Care.
In order to become a voting member of the Guilford CoC, a person/agency must attend at least one CoC meeting and complete our online membership application and sign the Conflict of Interest Disclosure Policy (see appendices to the Governance Charter).
Each application will be reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee and Secretary of the Guilford County Continuum of Care Board following CoC-approved application standards. Once the application form has been approved and the attendance requirements met, the Membership Committee will notify the person/agency of their voting status. There is no minimum or maximum number of voting members in the Guilford County Continuum of Care.
An agency may identify two (2) persons who may vote on its behalf. Only one (1) representative of an agency may cast a vote on each action.
Further information about membership is contained in the Governance Charter.
