 CoC Membership Invitation

The heart of the Guilford County Continuum of Care (CoC) is its membership.

Membership in the CoC is open to any organization or individual that has an interest in the community-wide commitment to prevent and end homelessness in Guilford County. The CoC defines this commitment by the willingness to assist and impact the lives of people who are experiencing homelessness, as well as to prevent and end the socially important condition of homelessness. The Guilford County Continuum of Care includes all parts of Guilford County, North Carolina.

The Guilford County CoC Membership meets on the second Thursday of each month from 9:30AM until 11:30AM. Meetings are currently being held via ZOOM. To receive the Zoom link, please email infoCoC@guilfordcountync.gov.

New members are welcome to join the Continuum of Care at any time. Membership Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the Membership Committee, voted on by the Board of Directors, and voted on by the Continuum of Care Membership. Once approved, new members will participate in New Member Orientation. New Member Orientation is held on the fourth Friday of February, April, June, August, October, and December. There are no dues or membership fees associated with Continuum of Care membership.

Non-voting members must attend at least one meeting during the fiscal year. In order to become a voting member of the CoC, a person must attend at least one CoC meeting, complete a Guilford County Continuum of Care Voting Member Application Form, and sign the Conflict of Interest Disclosure Policy.

Please feel free to share this invitation with others who are interested in this vital work in our community. If you have questions about membership, please contact infoCoC@guilfordcountync.gov. Your inquiry will be forwarded to the CoC Board Secretary.  If you know of someone who would like to stay informed via the CoC newsletter, please have them sign up here.
