The Guilford County Division of Public Health provides students and professionals with dynamic intern and volunteer opportunities. Participants may acquire the skills, knowledge, and/or hands-on experience needed for today’s public health fields.

Application Instructions

If you are interested in a student, intern, or volunteer opportunity with the Guilford County Division of Public Health, please complete the application below and submit it with your resume to Publichealthinterest@guilfordcountync.gov

If you are offered an interview or opportunity, you will be contacted directly. If selected, you will need to provide proof of a Tuberculosis screening (PPD) and the following immunizations: Measles (Red), Mumps, Rubella (German Measles), Varicella, and the Flu vaccine (during flu season, if required for staff).

If you need intern or volunteer hours for academic credit, a contract between the Guilford County Division of Public Health and your school is required to be offered placement.
