A Groundwater Monitoring Network has been established since 2002 for long-term monitoring of the groundwater table changes in Guilford County. The location of the wells can be viewed in the county map.

The groundwater level data are downloaded monthly from the monitoring network including Gibson Park, Hagan Stone Park, Knox Road, Prison Farm, Station 45 (Humble Road), Triad Park, and Summerfield (Jack Dent Park) stations. A new station was installed in Guilford Northeast Park in June 2015. The depths of water table are also measured with a digital water level meter before data downloading.

The groundwater level data for all stations owned and maintained by Guilford County have been removed from Guilford County web site and uploaded to the groundwater monitoring network of NC Division of Water Resources since August 2015. You can view the data and the graphs for Guilford County network. To view the graph for each station, select a station on the left and then click Process Well.
