Kids, Cans & Ca$h is an annual event, sponsored by Guilford County and the City of High Point, designed to celebrate America Recycles Day (November 15th) and to promote the culture of recycling among elementary school students, teachers and staff.

All elementary schools within Guilford County, both public and private, are invited to participate in the challenge by collecting aluminum beverage cans for recycling. Collecting cans provides an ideal opportunity for the development of a great service learning project for individual classes or for the entire school. The schools get to keep the cash they earn from the recycled aluminum cans.
