Each year, Guilford County Environmental Services offers a free educational program called “The Magic of Recycling” to elementary schools throughout the County. The program features a real magician who incorporates information about recycling into an entertaining and engaging magic show for elementary students. Endorsed by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction for Guilford County Schools, “The Magic of Recycling” relates directly to both the 2nd and 5th grade curriculum, as specified in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. 

Shows are presented to a maximum of 350 students at a time. For schools with a higher student population, multiple shows can be scheduled. Each performance runs about 45 minutes.
