The Sheriff recently announced the planning of the “Sheriff’s Roundtable” to provide feedback and guidance. This advisory group will consist of community and religious leaders, nonprofits and other community stakeholders. The goal of this group will be to improve communications and community oriented policing initiatives.

In the case of crisis, the core and select members of this roundtable maybe contacted for more productive and accurate communications and collaboration.

Meetings well be held quarterly (Starting in the Fall 2019) with key staff members of the GCSO. All the information acquired during these meetings will be relayed to the Sheriff and command staff for review and discussion.

The Sheriff’s Roundtable will consist of the following community-oriented groups and organizations:

• Healthcare Agencies
• Non-Profits
• Advocacy Groups
• Religious Community
