5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 is the civilian absentee ballot return deadline and Election Day for the October 2021 municipal primary elections. Please note:
- If an absentee ballot arrives at the local county board of elections office after 5 p.m., the ballot will be counted only if it is postmarked on or before Election Day.
- The voter's local county board of elections office must receive the absentee ballot, postmarked on or before Election Day, no later than 5 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021.
- Absentee ballots without a postmark must be received by Election Day (Municipal Primary, October 5, 2021).
- A voter may return their ballot to an early voting site in their local county during the early voting period, but NOT to any polling place on Election Day.
- A voter may return their ballot in person to the local county board of elections office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
