Civilian voters must request an absentee ballot by mail for the November 2, 2021 Municipal Election by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. To do so, voters should complete an absentee ballot request form and mail or return the form in person to their county board of elections. Absentee ballot requests may also be submitted through the absentee portal by 5 p.m.

In Guilford County, ONLY the following Municipalities/districts will participate in this election:

• Burlington
• Gibsonville
• Jamestown
• Kernersville
• Oak Ridge
• Pleasant Garden
• Sedalia
• Stokesdale
• Summerfield
• Whitsett
• Sedgefield Sanitary District

Greensboro City and High Point City will not participate in the 2021 municipal elections.
