7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2024 is the in person civilian absentee ballot return deadline and Election Day for the 2024 May Second Federal Primary Election. Please note following on either in person or by mail absentee returns:

In Person Ballot Return

• Ballots can be returned to the county board of elections office (the county who issued your ballot) by 7:30 PM on Election Day (05/14/2024).
• Prior to Election Day, ballots can be returned in person to an early voting site in the county that issued the ballot during the early voting period (04/25-05/11/2024).
• Ballots may NOT be returned to a polling place on Election Day.
• Any person returning a ballot will sign in at the board of elections, to confirm delivery, per state law.

By Mail Ballot Return

• Postage for a return ballot package is more than standard postage price. Individuals should ask the post office for exact postage needed to ensure delivery.
• Mailed ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by Election Day (05/14/2024).
• We strongly recommend individuals mail ballots early to help ensure it arrives in time.
