The District 2 Sheriff's Office is located at 5440 Millstream Rd, McLeansville, NC. The District is bounded by Rockingham County on the north, east along Alamance County, and south along Randolph County. East along US 421 north bound to Monnett road, east to Coble Church road north to Alamance Church road west to city limits of Greensboro. North following east side of the city limits of Greensboro to US 29 N and east side of northbound on US 29 N to Rockingham County.

District 2 is staffed by a Captain, Lieutenant, 5 Sergeants, 4 Detectives, 23 Patrol Deputies, 1 Canine Handler, and an Office Manager. District 2 services the incorporated towns of Whitsett and Sedalia, and the unincorporated areas of Forest Oaks, Julian, Kimesville, Climax, Osceola, Monticello, McLeansville and those neighborhoods outside the city limits of Burlington, Gibsonville and Greensboro within our District boundaries.

The primary function of District 2 is uniformed patrol and the criminal investigations of crimes related to assaults, burglary, theft, fraud, forgery, vehicle theft, possession or receiving stolen property and juvenile criminal offenses.
